In Asti’s historic center, you come across a restaurant with an unusual name that provides you with a bright surroundings and shabby furnishings, where both lunch breaks and dinners with friends or couples are lovely. Genuine and creative dishes prepared with care and served with grace and kindness – this is the recipe for success of this venue. All female the staff of the restaurant which already boasts a good loyal clientele. The menu changes every month and is suitable for every taste and need. The “Bowls” are appealing salads with special ingredients such as strawberry and rabbit tuna or Venus black rice with beetroot, blueberries, melon, eggplant meatballs. The dishes depend on seasonality and the lunch prices vary from € 9 to € 14. Among the a’ la carte appetizers it is worth mentioning the veal with tuna sauce, the flan with avocado and the tuna tartare with oranges and passion fruit (from € 8.5 to € 11); their menu includes also interesting first courses like tajarin pasta with orange and lemon, pesto with shrimp or carbonara, the original one featuring pecorino and bacon (from 9 to 12€). Among the main courses you switch from the classic Piedmontese Fassona steak with a secret chef’s sauce to roasted octopus served with a delicious blackberry sauce (from € 15 to € 19). Homemade desserts such as chilli chocolate mousse, panna cotta with salted caramel (all for 5-6 €) to round out the menu. Either Vegetarian and vegan dishes are served every day. Good choice of wines, especially from the area, served by the glass as well.
