Location of great charm that certainly deserves a visit because the castle houses the museum with the relics of Cavour and for the magnificent view that can be enjoyed from the walls. The restaurant’s dining rooms have exposed brickwork, tile floors, and coffered ceilings, the location is refined and elegant, very well kept and tastefully furnished. Marc Lanteri’s cuisine is based on the Piedmontese and Provençal tradition, a border region cuisine that he has begun to appreciate in his native country, Tenda, but that he manages to reinterpret to create innovative dishes, always with the highest quality ingredients. His wife Amy, who takes care of the dining room service and as a sommelier, recommends the wines to the guests. The tasting menu includes duck foie gras with the torchion gelèè of rennet apples and brioche with dried fruit, barbajuan of codfish, Ligurian artichokes and chickpea flour, green butterflies in stew of cuttlefish, broccoli and taggiasca olives, followed by the saddle of lamb in crusted bread sticks, and finally the Piedmont hazelnut, coffee and dark chocolate, with the small pastry, offered at 75 euro excluding wines, with five goblets in combination we salt 115 euros. The traditional Langhe menu includes four courses at 55 euro and combined with wines 90 euro. Important wine cellar with selection of wines and Piedmontese schnappses.
